We had an incredible time visiting TAMID and NU alums at one of Chicago's coolest VC firms, Sandbox industries, this week! Thanks to Binoy, Bo & Kevin at Sandbox for taking us inside the minds of VCs, and to Brad and Danny from TAMID. Loved seeing the cool things you're all doing after graduating!
Last night we had an AMAZING event with special guest Pat Ryan, co-hosted with Northwestern Student Holdings. In a very personal talk, he shared his perspective on entrepreneurship and how to add value to people's lives. Mr. Ryan then opened up the conversation and fielded almost an hour of questions. Thank you Mr. Ryan for leading this incredible conversation. Your tremendous energy and involvement at Northwestern are truly inspiring. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
We are proud to release our first chapter newsletter. We'll be releasing them quarterly, read to stay up to date with everything going on in our chapter. Take a look at it here!
We had a blast attending the Israeli Innovation Showcase earlier this quarter! As invited guests to this prestigious event, eight of our chapter's members got to watch three featured Israeli startups pitching to a live investor panel and be moved by the words of Howard Tullman, CEO of 1871 and Steve Miller, Partner & Co-Founder of Origin Ventures, lead investor in GrubHub. We immensely enjoyed the great networking, business, and fun throughout the night. Thanks to the America - Israel Chamber of Commerce for the great event and opportunity, we look forward to many events in the future!
Thanks for coming, we hope you guys enjoyed the event! We had a great turnout for a great speaker. See you all at the next one!
